Im not sure, but i'll try to help.
I've been having it break occasionally on just the 2nd island in Two Crowns. Thought maybe I was overusing it and it had to recharge after a day or with a gem or something but.. nope. It just completely bugs out and fails to re-ignite her torch, so she's permanently unable to use her ability again until I restarted the game.
Cost me quite a lot as one of the times it happened was during an attack on a gate. Other times it's made me unable to save villagers or slow down a wall siege (which crumbled).
Reading other threads and I see people have reported being unable to drop coins or maps generating no-win situations.
Haven't played the Kingdom series since 2016. Really sad to see there's a bunch of different versions of the game you can buy yet all still seem to be full of uncommon/rare game breaking issues.
That sucks. However I do think Two Crowns is the definitive version in comparison to New Lands and Classic. Can't vouch for the extra characters though.
The problem with rare bugs is, the devs are having a hard time finding the cause, if the players, who experience them, don't come forward with as many details as possible about when it happens, if a game reload fixes it, how it can be reproduced. Without any of this you stand virtually no chance of it getting fixed, if it is indeed a bug.
