Bug: Mediterranean Vacation

I have all islands at 0 portals left, went back to each and rebuilt them since they had decay and wanted to make sure no portals were there, and still haven't gotten achievement. Anyone else having this problem?

Huh, that is very strange! It should if you've defeated all the portals.

Would you mind sending us your save file so the development team can investigate? If it's a bug we want to squash it!

for me it triggered after the last portal in the boss room blowed up after defeating the boss.

Coo, hopefully I didn't just find a new bug. Only weird things that happened in my playthrough was at the last island where the snake was being a bit glitchy and my buiders were acting weird (ignoring tree cutting orders that were past the snake when he was temporarily knocked off the island, as well as whenever we attacked his part in the water they would be phasing around the water instead of being on the boat manning the ballista) but didn't matter as much since it didn't really affect gaming experience.

I had very similar things happening to me, alastair, and also cant pop the achievement :( the snake was very glitchy for me as well but i managed to brute force it, but now i have zero portals left and no achievement

Same. I just finished the game. All islands say 0 portals, cleared the whole snake island, beat the game, no achievement.

I've also never gotten Their Savior to pop. I did it twice back at launch, and it never triggered, despite being well over 200 days, and I just tried it again in the DLC, and it doesn't work (though that might be intentional?)

But definitely the Mediterranean Vacation doesn't work. I've wandered the snake island, I've gone to other islands, everything says 0. :(

I sent mine in, yeah.

I'm also working on trying to get Their Savior and There is No Greater Ruler, ones that I had met the criteria before, but wouldn't unlock; back at launch.

Not good signs though, last night I tried to return to an island, the counter says 202 days (edit: since the last visit, The reign is at 213 days), and Their Savior didn't pop; rebuilt all the walls and such, still nada. I reloaded a backup save and am going to wait some more days to see if maybe that helps.

I don't know if there's some unknown criteria that I'm just not meeting. I've looked up info about other people getting it and it sounds pretty straight forward, but despite me trying several times over the past couple years to get it, it just won't for whatever reason.

EDIT: Got Their Savior.
EDIT2: Got There is No Greater Ruler also. So those work!

I finished the game tonight. I have 0 portals left on every island, it took me 1.5 months to meticulously defeat all portals. Nothing popped up.

Just completed Hero of Olympus and End of an Odyssey going for 100% completion. Zero portals on all islands, Mediterranean Vacation did not pop. Submitted bug report file.

Seems like this achievement stopped working after the recent update on the 3rd, which included a change to how the game views islands as "completed" and decay mechanics. Could be related if the markers for Mediterranean Vacation completion were unknowingly adjusted/unlinked while fixing other bugs.

Same here as I beat all the portals from the 10 land still the Mediterranean vacation cannot unlock

Yep; I just played the whole Olympus campaign TWICE and the Mediterranean Vacation achievement is definitely bugged.

On my first "slow completionist" run, I even went back to every island again after beating it, ans there was literally nothing left to do on any island.

On the fast "one ruler" playthrough I completed 5min ago (CLXXXIX, which was fun & hard!), I specifically required myself to clear every portal again, and it still didn't pop.

I suggest having the count checked each time someone travels. ...because it's definitely 0 i both games.
