No matter what I do, cannot find stone on island 2

I thought maybe my game was bugged, so restarted after having died a few times in first run. Brand new game save slot, played through island one, got to island 2 which EVERYTHING I've read suggests is where you find stone.. been to both ends of the land, opened everything I can in between, and still no stone. Where am I going wrong?!

Very good question. Norse Lands (I think) - Easy difficulty level (as I'm learning!)

oK,, "Norse Lands" then u looking for a wodden building,,, type "sawmill"
but look for that - tent - / camp *u see in pic.
i couldent find a screenshot... island 2

u problem is probably that u run fast with horse,,, so when passing it
u dont see/register the 10 coin-slots on camp spot.. ;D

beleive that whats you should be looking for *how it look fully build :D

and + what Sapador says "basic logger's camp"


so.... the next time u slow down and u see they coin slot,,,thats there

That's the advanced logger's camp, the iron equivalent tech, which can be found on the 5th island.

For the stone equivalent tech, look for the basic logger's camp on the 2nd island.
