How fast can you beat the game in one reign ?

I've got the idea while playing the Dire Island which is hard to get the gold when you play alone so to keep me entertained by the game, I'm challenging myself to finish it the faster.

In game day, my current record is 61 days.

I mount the deer then the griffon only.
I take the baker ermit in case I am not lucky with close villages.
I start destroying portal at island 4 and only in the bomb side.

I do the islands in this order (day when I quit the island) :
1 ( V ), 2 ( XI ), 1 ( XIII ), 3 ( XXI ), 4 ( XXXIII ), 5 ( XLVI ), 1 ( XLIX ), 2 ( LVI ) and 3 ( LXI ).

And you, what's your time ?

lets see, havent played the base game in awhile...
the best run i have a record of is day 63. nice job!
same island order, same mounts, same portal strategy. i never bother with baker hermit, tho. at the time, i was trying to play fast, but with no big/unnecessary risks. it might be fun to try an all-out risky speedrun on base game.

as for your current schedule, my only comment is that you can leave island1 by day3 if you really wanna. might get you down to day60.

another thing you could try to do: leave with the bomb before destroying any portals on island4 and maybe island5. you can destroy the smol portals on the way, and with the griffin you can help your troops+bomb survive if the retaliation is on the same side. (this works really well on norselands, with sleipnir and gjallarhorn. not sure if it works reliably in base game, but it can definitely work at least sometimes)

That's a good idea, I will try that, In Island 4, I can tank the retaliation with 2 troops, so I could add the bomb too.

I don't try to speedrun (yet) in norseland cause with sleipnir and hel's trophy it's too OP ^^

for speed, gjallarhorn is even better than hel. if youre careful, you can literally bypass the small portals with the bomb and have zero retaliations. even if not, you can still get the bomb to the cave MUCH faster by teleporting.

and yea, sleipnir is broken all on its own, but you can still speedrun. just means you'll be faster, right?
