Golden Boar Mount never catches its breath?

So I got myself this golden boar. Either I fail to understand how you are supposed to get your stamina back or it's bugged. I waited 2 ingame days for the boar to regain it's stamina but it's still breathing heavily and I can only go anywhere at walking speed now which kinda ruined the entire run for me.

I read somewhere that you get stamina back from digging with it, which is it's ability (digging yield coins)

It's s farming-focused mount. You di in the farms and speeds up the growth process.

No. Just press “speed” buttom twice. It will dig 3 ♥♥♥♥♥ ANYWHERE you are. Just repeat it 3-4times and it will dig coins no matter what. Diggind anywhere is also refreshing stamina. So just dig when exhausted and you will be refreshed. Goldean boar is great at winter times with slower incom. U can just dig anywhere infinite amount of money.

well this game is hardcore about "guess what this pixelated thing does!" and doesn't care to explain... well, anything.
