Guessing the money keeps coming in, so no need to fix this bug as it seems to concern only some people. What a shame.
that being said, this game definitely has more bugs than your average game, and theyre usually WEIRD. weird bugs, especially ones that are hard to reproduce, can be very difficult to fix.
i feel your pain, tho, i would light my computer on fire if this happened to me
I don't see this as cynical and it's not just a small dev group. It's three dev groups and there are so many bugs in the game after Norse Lands and the Conquest update, that the game is *almost* unplayable.
Read the other discussions. As much as I hate whining gamers, the people in these discussions have a point; the game is borked right now.
This is definitely a bug and should NOT be happening.
Pls report it in the Support section so the Devs will take a look at it.
My guess is everytime we build the boat, it will change the flag status of the next Island from disabled to enabled. When you lost the crown and restarted on 1st Island and built the boat, it somehow changed the next Island status from enabled to disabled and you can't land on it. Let's hope this isn't the case otherwise many other players will be affected.
there were 4 issues with the conquest update that made the game so buggy it was fair to call it 'unplayable', and the dev team fixed them all in a few weeks. it would be better if they had fixed them FIRST, but at least we know they listen and can act.
the remaining bugs are either relatively minor, or (like this one) AWFUL, but affecting a very small number of players.
this is easily the worst remaining bug, but it DOES seem to affect only a handful of people.
what i specifically called cynical, though, was this: 'Guessing the money keeps coming in, so no need to fix this bug as it seems to concern only some people.'
bugs that affect only a few people are hard to fix because theyre hard to reproduce. also, bugs that affect many people simply are more important to fix than bugs that affect only a few, but they do seem to get to even the small issues eventually.
Lower your monitor refresh rate temporarily. You can get to the right location If you search for “advanced display settings” in your Windows search bar.
I set mine down to 60 Hz and the game works fine.
Thanks for sharing! Hopefully the fix will indeed come out soon!
