Archers stuck a the Bow Shop...

I'm on the 4th island and can no longer expand because any archer I hire will not leave the bow stand. Like, I have 20 archers or so just milling about in a huge clump near the bow stand and they won't leave or do anything. Won't hunt, won't staff the towers, won't guard walls, won't wander the kingdom aimlessly. At this point I'm going to leave the island and come back later, but I'm concerned I won't be able to finish the game at this point (I've logged... a lot of hours and cleared the first three islands). Any thoughts as to how to fix this or is this just the bug from hell?

Hey, I understand your frustration! Archers are not supposed to act like that, it all sounds very strange 🤔

If you could send your save files, we can have a look and see if we can figure out what went wrong and fix it for a future patch.

Here's how to locate Kingdom saves on PC:

1. Hold down the Windows key and press "r" and type in %appdata% and hit enter.
   
2. This should open up the "roaming" folder.
   
3. Go back one time so you end up in the "appdata" folder.
   
4. Locate and enter the "LocalLow" folder.
   
5. Zip and send me the “noio” folder via our support desk.

Ive had the exact same problem and idk how to fix it. i even save quit and it dident work.
Though i gotta give it to the developers to answer your post and try to fix it

sounds a little like the bug where mostly engeniers dance around before the shield shop for a good minute before they go to work again.
