7) If your builders haven't finished a wall and the greed are approaching you can use the Gryphon mount to push the greed back, giving your builders more time to (hopefully) finish the wall.
8) You can pay squires/knights coins to allow them to take more hits. Fill their coin purses to allow them to fight with full potential, essential when using them to assault portals. Be aware though if you haven't paid them yet they will snatch up any coins on the ground nearby until full.
9) If you are unable to clear trees on one side due to a vagrant or merchant camp being in the way (and you don't want to destroy it), you can try clearing from the other side. Try find the nearest opening where you can clear backwards. Be cautious though this means your builders might be too far away from camp to make it back in time before nightfall. This can be countered by simply paying the greed off, as long as it's not too late in the game and there are too many to pay. For example, I can usually backwards-clear on the other side of a camp in a few nights by continuously clearing trees / paying off greed in the early days of the game. The profit you make from deforesting more than makes up for the coins lost paying the greed before day 10.
10) You can select how your character looks on the loading screen when starting a new campaign. When you see them galloping on their horse, press the down key to change appearance. Once you stop changing it, the game will start in a few seconds.
When you return to a land or are defeated all your units on towers remain. A good justificaiton in the latter part of clearing an island to taking some time to build up some towers for your return; or in case you get defeated!
If you want to know which way the jetty is stand still and watch the river water. It always flows out to sea, thus you can follow that direction to know which way it is to the jerry (and thus the opposite way leads to the cave and the spawning point for many of the enemy that you can't shut down until later
Esp early on the Greed attacks in a single primary wave, once beaten you can freely go beyond your walls to start setting the ground work for the morning - such as marking trees to be taken down. Of course be careful, if you stray near a portal doing that it will release more Greed.
