Bugs make this unplayable...
So, any time I go to a new island, ANY time. I get blood moon night TWO. Night TWO! So I go to a fresh island five, nothing built, blood moon night two with 10+ Flyers. It's LITERALLY impossible.

Dev, you're game is broken. I like difficult, but this makes it impossible to not die. That's trash.

Sounds like your game is bugged? Maybe reinstall it? I think I've only experienced bloodmoon when I break portals. Bloodmoon has never appeared on random days for me like in the first game.

Yeah, my game is super bugged. Between blood moon the 2nd day on any island every time I go back, pikemen just giving up and walking away without swinging. It's just...horrible. Absolutely horrible.

Blood moon on day 2. Yep, happens to me, but not always. Just on islands 4 and 5. I assumed it was intended?

I compensate by refusing to leave those islands until I have max walls, hundreds of coins in the bank, and dozens and dozens of archers. It's a grind to setup, but it allows me to survive the wave.

In other words, while I agree the game is very buggy, I never thought this specific thing was a bug. I just assumed it was Kingdom's typical trolling.

You do get random blood moons. Atleast from my experience sometimes they happen even without a blood moon but its probably a bug.

Random or sem-random blood moons (without destroying a portal) are definitely a thing. I think there's always one between overall days 40 and 50, for example.

I can accept random, but every time I leave an island, whatever island I go to, I get a blood moon on the 2nd day. Every single time. Thing is, if I haven't been to an island yet (Island 5) I have nothing built up and it just destroys me. Dozens of flying jerks from both sides when I have like 5 archers per side.

Yeah, ouch. I've hit many reign-killing bugs, but thankfully not that one, yet.

i've been wondering about that, i'm to used to blood moons every 5-8 or so days like in new lands
if a natural bloodmoon is every 40-50 days, without a portal breaking retailiation strike, its no surprise i dont notice, thats just to big a gap to keep count of

i've had a bllodmoon on NIGHT 1 of island 5 before, thankfully i'm a speedy guy and got right up to island 4 and had that all build up by the end of the first winter and arrived with 3 full knight squads right after winter ended, about global day 70, so even tho it was a bloodmoon, it wasnt a very big one and easy to survive as it came at the same side as my 2 knight squads and a buffed stone wall
(it helped that i had the griffin, i kept blowing the greed back from the wall until the archers killed them all, i guess i got lucky the closest portal on that side was way way back, everything else was dead before the floated showed up and by then, the archers could focus on them)

Griffin abuse is soo good. The Griffin push has saved my bacon more than once. I know some people like the Uni, but the Griff is better. The Uni just gives you some cash. The Griff can save your Kingdom in a way no other mount can.

Griff is probably too good. Being able to erase a mistake (like building a wall too late) is against the spirit of Kingdom. You are supposed to be punished for mistakes. Likewise, running too deep into the forest, and then being able to graze, feels like "easy mode."

There should be an achievement for winning the game without using it.

I had ASSUMED that wave strength is a function of island days, not global days. You seem to be implying that global days factor in also?

For example, the wave strength on, say, island day 10, on island 5 would be the same no matter the global day. You think differently? Any evidence?

My assumption is based on the observation that crownstealers seem to appear based on island day, not global day.

its both actually, even on day one, if you dont go to an island until global day, idk, 200 or so, your going to get a big wave, day 1 or not, it wont be 2-3 greed like night 1 on island 1
if you take to long, you will suffer for it
i mean it wont be a wave of like, 300 greed wave like say, day 50, but global days do have a scaling effect, like, from personal observation
island 1, day 1, a single greed appears each side
island 2, day 1, 3-4 greed appear
island 3, day 1, 7-8 greed
etc, it will go up and it "expects" you to have some extra units via boat from previous lands too
if you watch, you'll also see that the greed start, if not in greater numbers, but also in greater strengh as the global day ticks up (aka, your see 3 greed on night 1 on island 2, global day 10, and you'll see 5 greed night one on island 3, global day 20
by island 5, you might only get 5 greed on the first night but you'll see "masked greed" on day one)
if island day = number
global days = tougthness, aka, the all got armoured masks now

now i'm not being specfic, but next time i start over, i'll screenshot a new night on each island and make a record of it

my thoughts on it is
island day waves are scaled and global days decide how fast it scales

i mean if you left island 1 at day 5(island and global) the waves will be tiny, like, 5-6 a wave
and you dont go back to island 1 until your at global day ..150?
it sure aint gonna be the same 5 greed wave that hits you it was before
your going to get a good 30 greed swarm at least for "island day 6"
and likely 30 masked greed, those wood walls you never went back and upgraded?
