Builders stop building for no reason

I tried to build a wall and while building the builders stop building half-way for no reason. No greed was neer or anything. They just stood idly at the incomplete wall wiping their sweat off. I found that saving, quitting and reloading makes them work again but I had to do it several times to finish the wall. In fact, I tried attacking a gate and the knights and archers reached the gate but they didn't attack, they just stood there.

Has any of this happened to any one else? Is there a permanent fix? fyi I only bumped into this on Island 5 during the winter.

I encountered this recently, I had three builders do absolutely nothing. I also fixed it by just closing out the game and opening it again. It only fixed two and then I closed it out again and then they were back to normal. Probably just wait for the update and much of these bugs will be fixed

I'm trying again and to be honest it's getting unbearable. I can't get a single action done without my units just freezing. Everything from builders building a simple structure, knights attacking a gate to archers in a defense tower.

You aren't alone. There are a lot of bugs in K:TC right now, unfortunately! And many seem to happen during winter.

Same bug guys, it's horrible!!! Day L on island 5 with my brother on local, it's umplayable!!!

Watching someone play and came looking for a fix. Holy hell this bug completely screwed a kingdom. Catapults stopped working, ALL archers stopped shooting including ones in towers, and even the sword guys stopped fighting. Almost every villager was lost as they are now vagrants and can't be re-hired because it's winter and he's playing the Shogun. The entire stock pile of gold in the keep was used in hopes of recoverly only for it to happen again the next night

Talk about game breaking bug. I wanted to pick up the game to play along, but not with bugs like this

Does restarting the game fix this at all? Will it just happen again? It was mentioned that it mainly happens in winter, and it is indeed winter

Oh, and builders would only half finish their jobs before stopping and just standing there

I think like 30 or so people were lost

I've experienced the bug maybe a dozen times, and it's always during Winter.

luckily it's only during winter, and quitting then starting again fixes it temporarily. I managed to get past it, just keep restarting.
