No rabbits spawning

*edit - This problem seems to resolve by saving, quitting, and re-opening the game.

I got to the third island and started my little camp. I had my builders clear at least a couple of screen's worth of land to one side of my camp (vagrants on the other side). However, no grass is growing and no rabbit bushes are spawning. It's just bare dirt for two screens out past my wall; no trees or anything to prevent the grass from spawning. It's also still spring/summer because there IS grass inside of my camp. Is this a bug? Is there a trick to force the rabbits to spawn?

I have the same problem but MUCH worse! I have no grass in my kingdom at ALL and my mount can't regen stamina and I have no way of getting money cause I don't reach any farms!! I need HELP

Is it winter? Did you block grass growth with a wall?

Sometimes, there's too much free space outside, far away that the rabbit dens and rabbits spawns over there, and hits their spawn cap there.

Because of course there is a cap to spawns. I wish there werent. Because it cripples unlucky players.

ok, well is there any way round this? Do I just have to expand up to those rabbit dens? ( I don't think thats my problem though, I think I just messed something up or idk)
