he said 1 crystal/, aka gem, the only 1 gem hermit is the stable hermit on island 2
you build up a farm to level 2 then take that hermit to it, you will then be able to upgrade that farm to a stable
a stable brings all the mounts in your current island to that spot so it makes it easy for you to switch between them
