Problem Island 3 to 4
Hi to anyone reading this,
I played a bit and got absorbed by this game, holy.
I did Island 1 to 3.
And I arrived to island to get destroyed by Giant monsters that make spawn other ones on the second night on this island.
So I lost my crown and came back to island 1.
I did this twice.
Then I looked on Youtube, how to beat island 4.
And I discovered that normally 2 troops with a knight are supposed to get on the boat from Island 3 to go to the next island.
But its doesn't work.
And impossible to do anything else with the giants on the second night.

So I wanted to know if it was a bug, or that I spent too many days on the first islands and I had to restart the game.

Thanks for any advice.
Have a great day!

First and foremost, knights and their archers have never automatically borded the boat. What you have to do is go to the knight flag near your outermost wall and muster your knights there. Instead of running to smash a portal they'll instead run to bord the boat. Only 3 knights can board a boat.

Secondly, when you enter the menu you'll notice roman numerals in the upper right hand corner of your screen. That's your global day count. This is constantly counting up each day regardless of individual day counter on the current island you're on (the one that appears every dawn).

Why's that important?

Because there are certain elements in this game that are tied to that global day progression like overall greed aggression but also blood moons. Now there does seem to be some restraint on greed aggression when you first start an island, but the fact you saw breeder greeds (those giants) leads me to believe you either got an exceptionally unlucky blood moon on day 2, you had spent a lot of time on each island getting up to Island 4 to tick up that global day count and hence greed aggression, or a combination of both.

To beat this game in one-reign isn't exactly easy. The devs have stated the game is designed in such a way as to make losing one's crown a feature.
Especially if you're new? Worry less about a crown getting taken and more about game mechanics and how they intertwine. Experiment.

One thing that you need to understand - in later island it's not a coins your main resourse, but people.

To survive Spawners you need to have 50+ archers that will destroy Greed even before it reach your walls. So every day you need to hire at least 2 new archers.

Also you must return to island 1, to activate Archer status with gems. It double archer damage and turn arrows into homing one)
