remote play is broke?

i tried play remote play with my friend but he can't create a new
character in the game (he is using a controller), i tried everything, started a new campaign, active the multiplayer, ending the tutorial, everything.


anybody know some answer?

I had a different problem where they couldn't see what was going on half the time sooo idk, and it's only this game that has the issue we played other remote play games

Sorry to hear that you have issues with the remote play function! What happens during remote play is basically that the screen of player one is streamed to player 2, and player 2 keyboard/controller input is streamed to player 1. Which sort of turns it into a local co-op game session, except the two players are on different places. Try pressing J on your keyboard, that should activate splitscreen, and from there you should both be able to play! (player 2 uses HJK keys to control their ruler.)

always when i start remote play my friends game just crashes in loading. this is what i do i just start the campain started split screen invite him to remote play and it crashes for him whie in loading my internet is 27 mb per sec so i thing this is not the problem and his is even bigger

We just streamed last night using remote play on Steam. The game is compatible, so it could be a Steam problem, network issues, or a hardware config issue.

This still doesn't work for me, none of the keys of the second player work on split screen through remote play.
