What does the farming little lady do?

Im new to this game, can anyone give me some starting tips? (Ive played Kingdom before, both previous games, but there is a lot of new stuff here I have no clue about)

Ok so she brought the horse back in, and I think the horse is faster now? I use the OH DEER LORD, so I dont really care. But yes, some information I would very gladly appreciate, some I'd rather explore and find out myself. But all I really want to know from you, as an all-knowing dev, what do the midgets do? Thats all i really require. I have to say tho, Im really loving this game again!

The hermits can upgrade buildings based on their trade. The farm one works stables and all unlocked steeds will come to your stables.

And does that affect my farmers? I.e. does it reduce the area of plantation or anything like that? And if so, are all hermits a trade like this?

Also what does the dog do? I find it so useless, all it does is sprint around barking at air.

That my dude is called a crown stealer, it will steal it even when you do have gems or coins, it does not care about any of them, i only wants the crown. you can even hear a scary sound effect when it comes out of the portal.

BUT also the hermits you were talking about.
Well it might SPOIL you so if you don't want to be spoiled then don't read the rest of it.




Ballista Hermit: 1st island
Cottage has boards and tools next to it.
Ability: Lets you build a Ballista on tier 4 towers, Worker uses the machine.

Farmer Hermit: 2nd island
Cottage has hay stack with pitchfork and farm tools
Ability: Lets you build stables on tier 2 farms, but it will ruin the farmers crops and reduces it down to 1 farmer.

Baker Hermit: 3rd Island
Cottage has a small stone stove
Ability: Upgrades tier 4 towers to a bakery, attracts vagrant to the bakery for easy recruiting.

Knight Hermit: 4th island
Cottage has knight armor stands
Ability: Upgrades tier 4 towers to a armor tower, recruits one squire on each tower.

Horn Hermit: 5th island
Cottage has a huge horn and small horns.
Ability: Upgrades tier 4 walls to a Horn wall, using this horn will make every unit go to that one side of the wall the horn was used.

Is there a way to counter the crown eater other than letting it die to my archers?

And is there a way to completley destroy that large greed portal, without it regenerating? (like constantly make my "destroyers" go there and beat up every rock that decided to float from the ground and stick itself back to the portal)

And I would rather be spoiled than having my evening go something like:

You must enter the cave to ultimately defeat the Greed. It requires Iron tech.

another question then. what does the crashed bird on the first island do? Is it like a new horse?

The crashed "bird" is a griffin mount. It is overall the most useful mount in the game.

Also on third island, the third statue. I know that the archers' improves their aim, the farmers' im assuming boosts the protudctivity of farmers and so does the builder statue. am i right or am i right lads

- The armoured horse effect makes the affected subjects invincible until it wears off.
- The farmer statue allows farms to have more fields per farm.
- The builder statue makes your walls stronger. You will see them sparkle when under the effect.
- If you mean the chubby horse on island 3, it has much more stamina than all the other mounts, but runs slightly slower. It is quite good for the low cost, and it can run forever and ever and ever.
