How to recover lost mount?

I was playing Kingdom: Two Crowns with my bro who has the Griffin, but we lost on Island 4 and restarted back on Island 1 without the Griffin.

How to get the Griffin back?

The griffin should be on island 4, where you left him, I think.
You can also try to build a stable if you have the hermit for it. The stable summons your activated mounts from other islands.
The hermit that allows you to upgrade farms to stables can be found on island 2, and costs 1 gem to recruit.

We were able to go to Island 4, but haven’t seen it around the ruins of our kingdom (where we lost). By any chance, could it be further off the island?

Nope but how do they work?

When you upgrade a farm to a stables, they can no longer grow fields.
Instead, mounts that you have previously unlocked with gems will appear next to the building and be available to you. This means you can have access to all your mounts on every island you have stables.

In order to upgrade a farm to stables, you must upgrade a level 2 farm while carrying the stables hermit on your horse. The hermit for this is located on island 2, and costs 1 gem to recruit, as well as 1 coin to put on your horse.

hey! I know this is an old thread but whatever, so I just lost my crown on island 4 like you CryAlpha and lost my griffin so i decided to just check and see if it falls from the sky back on island 1 and sure enough it does! So you can get the Griffin back on island 1 without a stable.
