Game Crashing

For some reason my game keeps crashing and exits the game everytime I play.

Is it because my settings/ video card is too high??

Project Snowblind by default will randomly crash on Windows 7. To fix you need to right click the game's .exe file and go to "properties" then click the "compatibility" tab. Use these settings:

Disable visual themes
Disable desktop composition
Run as admin
Compatibility: Windows 2000

Crashed here as well. But the graphics got me appaled anyway. I guess I will just deinstall instead of trying to get it to work.

The change recommended here leads me to a "Failed to find Steam" window

I was using Windows 8 but since my laptop hard drive died I haven't had time to reinstall and try it on Windows 10.

But I should try it on my desktop under Windows 7.

If I run as admin I get an error saying it can't find Steam. Game still crashes with all settings except that one set.

Got a bit further and then it crashed again. It really is random.

To fix the 'Can't find Steam' error. Go to your Steam root folder, find a file called 'Steam.dll' and copy paste it into the Project Snowblind install location.

Well I finally made it past the first level, so it looks like this fixed the crashing issue.

Snowblind keeps Crashing on Windows 10 at random times, about once per hour.

The Game is Fun to Play but you have to keep Saving your progress because it might Crash at some point, at least you can Reload.

I will still play it just because the story is good but sadly it keeps Crashing.
