What is laboratory furniture

I'm playing as polar and I'm on the mission called "The perks of being a lab-dweller part 1". It says i need to build three laboratory furniture but i'm not sure what counts, I've place one of every decor item in the laboratory and it did nothing, I'm probably being really stupid but would someone please help me, thanks.
