For the first time passing the game, by this moment, I completely built up the 2nd floor with generators. Disconnecting generators from electricity is not as enjoyable as building a base.
At least developers need to add a hot button to disconnect the building from electricity or select the same type of building. This is a common practice in similar games where there are the same tasks.
And this is one of the reasons why I associate EG2 with mobile game alike design.
If this is casual, idle timer game like Farmville, Happy Farm, etc. Occasionally requiring you to click on something with your fingertip on the screen can be a fun interaction, it gives you something to do.
But when it's that 'turn off generators' quest, or click on listening devices, symmetry devices in EG2, it's 'why are you making me to do this?'

"But when it's that 'turn off generators' quest, or click on listening devices, symmetry devices in EG2, it's 'why are you making me to do this?' "
I think the purpose is to keep you busy instead of waiting looking at the screen in X2 speed. The symmetry devices will be marked if they are in your base for a long time.
i dont think the device gets marked? i had one in my base for atleast 5/6 hours not knowing what it was until i clicked on it must have been a quest that did that
Do you overbuild and now pay the price. Sounds like emergent problem, not a design problem. I have usually 120-40 extra power.
Or, you know, you could just designate area to be "demolished", this marks all items in it to be sold. Then just rebuy the generators.
Honestly, whole "mobile game" thing is silly. If devs make people do something in their base, people claim it's mobile game design. If they don't have anything to do in their base, it's mobile game design.
Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
but as you know, there are multiple copies being laid.
select->destroy, select->destroy, select->destroy......confirm all
the repeated process is meaningless
A design issue would be blacking out your whole base if you plug in a toaster while running at max. capacity.
Oh wait......that's how they made it!
People not paying attention: "Ow, this game is bugged/badly designed..."
