makin gold, scheme times, minion management, costs, just about everything has had some tweaks.
a specific few people will come try to convince you this game will ruin your life basically it's so bad over nonsensical stuff. Stick around long enough, you'll learn who.
Before game was released we were promised a year of support, we got it and a few DLC's along the way, the last being a full campaign with a new genius that introduced a heating mechanic that is probably the biggest "problem" plaguing the game. Other will say the minion limit or lack of mod support. Which, can be true given different playstyles. A lot of people seem to forget the original did not have mod support and had a minion limit of 100 without using cheats. Most find it an enjoyable game, some find it a great game. A specific few that you'll get to know if you stick around here will say it's every aspect possible. lol.
Watch some playthroughs on youtube is my best offering of advice. See it for yourself, it's a base building/management game so it's not for everyone.
They could balance the game and give us modding support.
Byt they just moved to Sniper elite
If you've played EG1 and expect the new dev team to maintain the ambience of the first game... you're in for disappointment. Everything has been changed enough that anyone expecting the EG1 fun format will be sorely let down. Literally every system has changed from the first. Some in good ways, but mostly there's alot of frustration in the new way of handling things.
Take traps. In the first game you could setup elaborate trap systems that would generate money by sending agents on spirals of funny death loops. EG2... traps are damn near worthless, literally every agent disables them. The only time they don't is if your minions have already drained their stats which defeats the point of traps.
I clocked almost 100 hours on Steam playing 2 evil geniuses in 2 different new games on hard difficulty, clearing all objectives.
If you stopped playing or didnt buy because of glitches or felt there wasnt enough henchmen or minion types: it might be worth a try.
Keep in mind support for the game has ended. There wont be any new DLC or updates. What you see is what you get.
Enjoy your casual mobile game and be quiet
If you have a few bucks and want to kill an hour or two, go for it.
If youre looking for a game to really sink your teeth into check out Planetcoaster or Planetzoo. If being evil is your think check out the Tropico series, Two Point Hospital or War of the Overworld (dungeon keeper remake)
