have try´d the 2 playthroughs.
1 kill/capture them = leading at soldiers coming randomly (maybe checking why nobody returns)
2 just let investor take their holiday pictures and leave (they dont do something else if not attacked) = nothing but a little heat, not even one soldier after a couple of ingame month with a build and fired doomsday
I barely played it and even I know that investigators generate more Heat which spawns a bigger wave from that same faction and that capturing agents rewards you with Intel or new recruits.
There's ultimately no real incentive to stop investigators. Whether or not investigators are stopped is mostly cosmetic afaic.
they get only stronger with heat not with leaving or somthing else
wave of soldiers? really 88hours in this game, after my second play (-20 hours) i let everyone come take pictures and go guess what happens not one single soldier in 60hours realtime the only thing is building up heat but they only sent in another infestigators uh they stronger yeah but they do nothing if you do nothing to them
and let them come and go takes them waaay more time then just kill them whats leads to next wave. so maybe the time is shorter for next wave but they take ages to leave for trigger the next wave
The maximum suspicion an investigator generates is 5 times their level.
tech 4 all networks on 4 the whole world. max 1k heat on a 5 territory faction. not 1 single solder, not thief´s, no saboteur´s.
And i even try to get them for the entry under progression, dont know the word (where the little pictures are, treasure, minions etc)
the only ones i get is the support from the superagents but they seems do not count for the entry´s
It scales with agent quality. Poor agents give +1 intel. Excelent give +4, which you if you capture whole squad is total of 12-20 intel, nothing to scoff at.
Somehow I think a megalomaniac would actually be proud to showcase their lair on social media 😎😋
