Is there a reason to fraud tourists? Best casino layout?
Is there a reason to turn on fraud tourists mode ?
Or is it better at default?

In this mode do they steel distract enemy agents, or they only work to get money from tourists?

Is it even worth it?

What is the most efficient casino layout?
What rooms are safe to connect to the casino?

tourists mode = disable distracting agents, change to gain income from tourists mode

but income from casino items are just pathetic, you can forget about it.

for rooms you may consider making barrack, mess hall & staff room for your minions.

Well I'm sure someone has built a lair that doesn't use schemes or networks to sustain itself. I have heard of massive cover operations that take the whole floor so few agents ever make it anywhere near the base. An interesting idea anyway. I would be concerned about travel distance/time to the cover operation impacting the duration minions can be working.

ad well to keep tourist busy in one place, or in case you don't want agents get distracted by any reason

interesting but I don't think it's feasible for anything other than easy or creative mode.
the gold needed to make a whole floor of casino and the amount of power needed would be massive esp on hard mode where the power require is insane compared to lower diffs
it would literally be millions of gold and 10s of thousands of power supply

Interesting thinking there Shinobi... we couldn't manage it for EG1, maybe you can pull it off for EG2? Who knows, maybe the worst evil starts where you most expect it... in the shadey worlds of legitimate business interests!

Btw what shape of the casino is better? like a maze that forces an agent to go through several narrow corridors, or wide open space with a lot of equipment?

Maze, the closer an agent gets to casino entertainment, the higher the chance that he will want to play there.

You wouldn't fill the floor with items but time wasting maze. Tourists on slots would be mandatory. Every door they go through, have another door visible until they are far far from where the started. Do casino doors need maintenance?

My vault was so large Symmetry would stay in it for hours, holding my gold for me.

There are two thoughts about casino layouts: 1) the minimum you need to get past missions, and 2) a gigantic maze. In the beginning, you can use ropes and scenery to make a maze, later on you can use rows of slot machines. Agents will get distracted by an item, but after that they will refuse to use any more items until they have interacted with a minion. After that, they are willing to be distracted by an item again, rinse repeat.

I had a top rank agent become distracted by the horse races. Eli with almost no health came up to him and fought the guy, but Eli was defeated by the soldier and he just lay there groaning in pain. The agent went back to the horse races until Eli healed his hit point. Then the agent fought Eli and won, and Eli just lay there groaning in pain again. The agent went back to the races, Eli healed, they fought, Eli lost, yoicks and away. Eventually Eli won, because the agent can't recover stats while henchmen can. It took about half an hour, though.

Sounds diabolical.

It was a complete mistake. However, evil makes no mistakes.

Do you consider many dead end trap rooms but not necessarily a super mazey casino to fall into the giant maze category?
clop1000 Jun 10, 2021 @ 12:36am
Is there a reason to extend original casino room? Or is it big enough?

Do ropes break line of sight? Or is it better to use regular walls? Do i need doors in my casino? Maybe it some how stops the investigators.

Do I need security cameras in my casino? What are the benefits of having them?
