What generates suspicion?
I can't fully tell what does and does not generate suspicion. Maybe something like the "heat" meter or just an indicator of "Hey, this might not be legal"...

- Corpses
- Power room
- Prison
- Armory
- Research room
- Doomsday weapon
- Agent X's planted evidence

What reduce it?
- Some of the casino's item can reduce suspicion.
- Janet Bombe's scramble evidence ability

In EG1 there was at least a heat indicator on items. Which was very important because being a self congratulatory moron telling yourself "Well clearly it will be obvious what is suspicious!" was a fast track to heat from school desks being nearly as bad as flamethrowers, and your infirmary going from zero heat items to suspicious items, etc.

Amory doesnt cause suspicion but the weapon items you can put inside those rooms do.

Recently I was at least able to confirm the super serum slushy machine does not cause suspicion, probably, I built one into an entrance hallway to wave it in front of agent faces and they didn't care.

A real refreshing change of pace from EG1's "Infirmary! It doesn't cause suspicion-is that a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ X-ray machine?!"

I have also never ever seen the "reduce suspicion" casino items actually work. Agents have always ignore them on their way out. Even while having more easy people watching across hours of taking a break to play some zero stakes sandbox mode.

From what I've seen you can build everything from barrack/messhall/staffroom/achieve without agents getting suspicious. Though it only seems to matter if it maxes out the bar. Never noticed an agent in an infirmary so I couldn't say one way or the other for that.

Oh incinerators really upset agents.

Maybe that's the problem. I thought my power generators were upsetting them...

Medical pods and other basic infirmary items don't seem to generate heat. I am working on testing the trophy rack from the training room.

Small spoiler for Max playthrough.
Amusingly enough, the gold statues from Max's doomsday device, even in natural poses, give suspicion. I put a few in my casino area and wondered why the agents were at 4 suspicion before even attempting to enter my base. Then it dawned on me, and I was sad.
