Try to get small inner sanctum to heal your genious because he/she will be your tank for early game
my impression is, that a lot of people dont know what is the sense of the game.
the sense is not to fight ALL agents.
or am i wrong??
In general, the casino does not do it's job well, even when you form walls of slot machines to imepede their progress, they play the slots once then beeline for your base.
I think this is just going to be a learning growth. I felt myself struggling a few times starting without the tutorial as well; but after a few resets I finally started getting the hold of it and made it past the start without issues.
Do remember to utilize your genius extensively at the start, they generally can take out initial groups with only 1-2 other minions assisting (usually as a wall between enemies and the stronger genius attacks). You'll need to especially watch genius health too at the start until you get the inner sanctum running.
As others pointed out too though suspicion generating objects are rarer early on as well, so you could manage by just distracting them until they leave.
Also, the panic mode seems to lock idle agents in the casino. They just run around it doing nothing, so that should also be good to isolate and kill that one ♥♥♥♥♥♥ who went the wrong way.
Problem with distractions is, agents can randomly turn violent when being escorted outside. They'll kill the escort, and then photo the body as incriminating evidence. That kinda kills the whole point of distraction setups.
I personally think you are exactly right and have tried to mention this point when I can. You are an evil genius. Not an evil meat factory. You are supposed to work smart and not hard. I don't know why people are fighting so many investigators. You actually want them to leave alive! I left that L-shape hallway between the casino and helipad empty and then the entrance to my base is in the corner. I don't even put traps in that hallway because traps raise suspicion. My investigators get distracted in the casino. Then they go to the hallway where my camera catches them and someone escorts them back to the casino. Rinse and repeat. The rare investigator who makes it to the actual door of my base is super easy to deal with. Heck, my henchman wipes suspicion so even when they are in my actual base i can deal with it quietly.
