After all, the game is about hiding your true plans and staying off the radar till your plans are complete.
Red alarm doesn't help. Minions won't converge on the intruders, they just run around (like they did in the original, mind you, but at least in the original I could arm workers).
This didn't help. There is still that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in the middle of my base and my evil genius who insists on fighting them.
And if soldiers arrive as a result of his actions... well, truth be told they're much easier to deal with than super agents.
And I just replied to them.
Build your base in consequence, place traps in corridors, super soldier have exit :) just guide them into a big devil dungeon, and place traps everywhere, it's work well :)
And to be honest, the game is not very hard, if you build a solid starting base, you're not gonna have any problems. And for build a solid base, you have to make money, and for make money, without getting spot too quickly, you have to find the good balance between do missions or not.
NEVER DO A JOB IN A PROVINCE THEY ARE IN. LET THE REGION BE LOCKED DOWN.
They only show up if YOU make them show up. If you never do a job in a region they are idle in, they will never appear.
Having your guards all converge on threats TOGETHER is crucial. If you have good camera coverage and a lot of guards at your guard tables, they will all rush (mostly) together to deal with the threat. Ensure you have plenty of weapons available too.
I'm about 12 hours in and so far I've only had to deal with 1 visit from agent X despite having 4 Super Agents on the map.
As far as heat/threat goes, my best advice is: do not neglect your cover operation. Have plenty of distractions about, plenty of spare valets (at least twice as many valets as casino items to avoid being understaffed.) and enough socialites to keep agents constantly occupied. Why do all of this? Because every time an Agent leaves your base with 0 suspicion, it reduces your threat level significantly. (Sending 5 average agents home with no evidence usually drops my threat level by nearly 100 points! I'm playing Emma, for reference, so your results may vary.)
I think later in the game henchmen will be the way forward, for now try to avoid them at all costs,
