DDD is dead
It hurts me to say that the community is on the wane. During prime-time you would be lucky to have at least 10 players in total on all listed servers.

DDD is my favorite game (all time) and my pleasure comes from gameplay, not graphics.

Wish Steam would provide a free weekend to increase the user base before the game completely dies on the vine.

That is all.

It sure seems that way. For the past few months it seems less populated than before.

After the patch, the game became a sucks.
The last update a year ago, in game a lot of errors.
Administration is not on servers, there are no people monitoring servers.
No in server Menu API. Vac not work, new players throw this game because of some cheaters.
I'm tired of talking about this.
Why this game is needed now? Let this ♥♥♥♥ die out completely!
Return the version of the game 2013 year!

The idea was genious given the introduction of dinosaurs to an FPS. Differences in tools, skill sets and variation of each character is what keeps me addicted to the game. The designs that put DDD on the map are like no other, even today against the main competitors in its field.

It's hard for me to watch the slow death of a very fun game due to abondonment and neglect.

There is so much potential for profit and longevity if the right people come along to save it.

I have to second the sentiments of both Chief, anf Animalshow. DDD is a great game with loads of potential. Everytime there is a sale streamers stream the game, and it gets lots of views on YouTube. People like the game. It's not bad. It's just dead. There are no real incentives to stay beyond the gameplay itself. There are a few hints that the game was given up incomplete. "The victory cards do not work. Just evidence they did not follow through on that feature." Yes the game is not monitored as well as it should be.

The sales bring in new players, and populate servers. But when the game is not on sale damn! It is so dead! Emna has started a dedicated server called Dino Town. So some people are putting in effort to substain this awesome game. Besides regulars who populate the servers there's nothing else really being done about it.

Can the game survive on the shoulders of the regular players? I feel like it has been, but a lot of regulars have left. Toxic community, hackers, and the game dying in general. I am not ready to say goodbye to Dino yet. "Since I love Source engine FPS games"

Past two weeks have been discouraging. I must admit it's been bad. "Only EU servers populated barely."

Here's to hoping something changes soon. Isn't there a new map on the way? I thought the devs had an update coming with a new map?

I use to enjoy playing this game, but I gave up on it when cheating became rampant.

How could the devs not know? Literally everyone has been saying this for months.

Shame, haven't got a lot of hours on this game but it's very good fun in a populated server with players of (more or less) equal skill. Seeing 5 players on two german servers and 9 on a US one with too high latency for me right now.

Last time I checked there were many more players, but that may already have been a year ago.
Now I'm also hoping for a sequel.

10 players during prime time? Well, guess it's not worth coming back anymore :(

Playerbase is too small for them to care. It's been over a year and we are still waiting for new map THAT WAS ALMOST READY, just had some bugs. I doubt they even tried to fix them.

^^^ That's the whole truth of it. Dino peaked already, and now it is dying. The community is too small, and the devs have moved on to a new project "Grappledrome".

Maybe Dino isn't worth salvaging to the devs. Since they have current endevours like Grappledrome to worry about. The Conmmunity must fix the problem within itself, by giving out 1 dollar copies to friends, among other things to fill the servers. Dino is on the front page during steam sales so what more should we expect from them? Yes give us the new map!

Hey Fritz...why so sad?!?!
LiveAnimalShow Mar 27, 2017 @ 5:52pm
Be honest, your reich has made you a dinosaur steam game.
Trick_or_Tiger Mar 27, 2017 @ 8:15pm
Ouch, that's sad to hear. I just started playing this game about a week ago and I haven't seen many people. Its dissapointing to new players and ones who have played for a long time leave because of it being dead and shoved away. It kinda ruins the point of multi-player...
