I use the translator.
I also have problems starting the game "Legend" and "Anniversary" and I have tried many recommended methods on the internet and it still doesn't work. I think I'm going to refund them.

I have turned everything off and set the graphics and resolution to minimum and they still won't open "TR anniversary" and "TR Legend"

Something that all three TR games need is to add them as exceptions to the "Data Execution Prevention" on Windows.
On Steam when the game is run, a menu pops up asking which options to select, either play game or setup game. Setup game allows you to adjust graphics settings before playing the game. The same settings are available in game too.

It may help to choose Setup first (wise to do that each time you play anyway until you're happy with settings). Perhaps while troubleshooting, disable all the options and then enable them one at a time each attempting to run the game. That may identify which if any could be preventing the game from running.

Something else you might try. The Legend and Anniversary games were released mid 2000s so maybe try to run the games in compatibility mode like Windows XP (service pack 2 or 3) or Vista or Windows 7 or 8. Find the game .exe application file and mouse over them to select properties. There you can set the compatibility.

I just tried Legend running normally, without changing the .exe OS compatibility, and it played without problem on Windows 10 with default setup options and it all worked fine. Tried it with next gen graphics and without and also no issues.

Also it may be worth checking the graphics card is appropriate and drivers up to date.

Otherwise sadly it may be something else causing the problem not game related, which may be more local PC specific. That could be a number of things from controller conflicts to antivirus software and so on.

Hopefully you will eventually get it to work. Good luck!
