Is it allowed to use trainer or outfits mods?

I would like to know if it's allowed or if there is a vac ban risk for modding the game. (also tomb raider anniversary and underworld). I don't see why it would not be allowed as it's a single player game but I want to be sure because I prefer not doing it if there is any risk

Of course you are. You can do so for most single player games

I used one for a small part of TR Anniversary and I'm still here.

Yes you are allowed. VAC ban only applies to online games such as Counter Strike and Left 4 Dead etc.

Thanks guys. I tried a trainer which seems to work bcause when I hit keys it says "activated" in the game, but no actual effect in the game. I tried with invisibility to be sure and yep, it definitely don't work. Can you recommend me a particular trainer for Anniv/Legend/Underworld (which have a "save position" option if possible to back up just before a tricky jump where there is no checkpoint. I already did all thos games in average difficulty on ps2 an I would like to unlock everything in hardest difficuly but without downloading a save. I want to do it myself but in a chill way
