Surprisingly few classes - Does it get old?
I was fully expecting to find 4-6 more classes in the game, especially considering how specific each class is. I like that the abilities can be differentiated via upgrades, but it still feels like there is a lot of meat missing from the class pool. Are there mods that address this? Or plans for DLC? I'm worried im going to get bored with my party before I get into the meat of the game.

It doesn't help that the initial stat spread is so wildly different that it makes it hard to break the mold with some classes. Offensive guardians are playing from so far behind its kind of not worth it to get creative.

I don't think 8 classes are "few" and they haven't gotten old for me eather.
Of course there's not as much customization possible as in D&D, but on the other hand, the classes are much more unique than your usual mage, fighter, thief, and so on.

I think there are at least 2 more classes planned as well.

It does a little bit, equipment is also quite linear. Hopefully they can add maybe a new weapon type for each class/new skills to go with it to maybe allow a bit more diversity.
