Loyalty & Affinity
What do these stats do? There's a lot of upgrades related to them, but I don't know what they actually do, if anything?

Is it a mechanic TBD?

An aside: Liking the game so far. Definitely feels super early access. Getting to the 2nd step of the knightly order for that to be the end of the current EA version was kinda weird.... More missions/events/etc will definitely make it feel more like a complete game (Obviously, duh. Thats why it's EA. Just thinking out loud :P)

I'm hoping there can be several "world shaping" themed events by the games completion. Rebuilding/settling/destroying towns for thematic purpose can add a lot of weight behind a campaigns feeling IMO. If we become filthy rich, maybe some sort of larger faction/settlement influence can be implemented down the line... Curious what 'the council' is, but it appears that I'll learn near the end of the year. heh.

Anyway, looking forward for the more to come. Game has lots of potential. Hoping for some high quality stuff!

Good luck selling loads of copies.

Loyalty mostly affects the salary costs of your mercs right now (more loyal = less costly). It's also something to consider when making choices. If your party members are very loyal, then you don't need to worry too much about making a choice that they disagree with once and a while. If their Loyalty isn't super high however, then making choices that they disagree with will result in them confronting you, and potentially leaving the company.

Both systems are a little light at the moment, but Affinity more so - we'll be expanding on its role in a later update. Down the line it will be important for a children/progeny system (though that's currently something we're eyeing for after 1.0).

And thanks :)
