Distorted Music

The music is this game is horribly glitchy. I've looked at some YouTube vids for comparison, and it's definitely my install. Is this a know issue?

If the music is very distorted, it might be a problem with processing power - try closing all other apps, as many as you can, and see if that alleviates it somewhat. If it does, then that's the problem. In spite of how the game looks, it's quite a resource hog, needing a beefy CPU.
