Kamchatka - bug with protecting the Anya and Dmitry

Hey! I was playing recently in coop with my friend and we tried to complete act 7: Kamchatka. We wanted to chill so we played on normal difficulty (2/5).

In the 2nd mission, you get a few time quests to protect the russians. We played two times and always failed in the final encounter. We have decided to switch the difficulty to the easiest to just see the story of that Act. What happened is that we somehow on the easiest difficulty failed with the second defense inside some kind of facility. We cleared all the zombies from the waves, and we had to wait around 10-15 seconds for the timer to go to zero and then information about failure appeared (link to the stream: https://www.youtube.com/live/S1hW4sZWbhw?si=cu13o7JzGaizaF-q&t=7356)

Does anyone know what is wrong with this mission and how to overcome that bug?

They got Aaaanya.
Bruh, you need to protect the gate donw in the pit. When the timer kicks in, means there are zekes on the gate.
If you don't clear them - doesn't matter if it 1 or 100 zekes - you will loose the game.
No bug, basic game mechanic.
