Added a whole bunch of great stuff including fluid switching between FPP and TPP.
If you liked the game, it's a must-have, if you own WWZ on Steam then just buy "Aftermath upgrade". If you don't, go for the WWZ Aftermath edition, it's base game + Aftermath.
Forgot why I got it over there they shouldve released on both platforms
If part 2 comes out hopefully they learned there lesson
A few years later they released game here with another "new" edition - aftermath.
Bugs are a separate story, regardless of your skill you will still lose, because zombies can hit you from a couple of meters away, or “scripted” zombies that have much more damage than single. Ugh..If you don't have an m4 shotgun and don't have for example masking grenades and don't play as medic just for became invisible - you have a high chance of being incapacitated.
My buddy who I play with - just learned lurker respawns and better positions for defense. Positions are a separate story - you can take any position in the game, but the problem is that because of respawns and balance in some positions you can easily be incapacitated, while in others you can survive the entire wave of zombies.
Vulkan is unstable, I didn't have any crashing, but I did have graphical artifacts. I set the FSR setting to Quality and the problem was solved. But the image quality itself became more blurry.
Even though I purchased the game at a relatively low price, I still regret the purchase. If the developers would fix most of the bugs and improve the servers, the game would be much better. It had potential.
FP mode though I personally find okay. It's been a lot worse at launch of Aftermath. It took them a couple of months to finally patch the movement to be way less laggy and slippery. The animations and zoom though, I don't mind. Actually prefer the zoom over regular ADS, especially with most modern games having awfully overdone animations. FP is what made me buy WWZ and I never played a full match with TP. Just don't like TP in this game.
Another thing to note is the abysmal support. People keep on buying even though the support is bottom of the barrel quality.
Matthew Karch (CEO) of Saber said last year back in April that he wanted to focus more on quality moreover quantity. Well, here we are. Quality is still not a focus. Hot air balloons sure do hold a lot of hot air.
Until people start speaking with their wallet, this company won't ever change and we will continue to see bug and glitch infested mediocre games come out of Saber.
