What is aftermath
I have the first game on epic

Did they combine 1 and 2 because sales were bad?

Did enjoy the time spent on the 1st game but now it's just confusing

Bad move to released it on epic for 1 year then shouldn't have released something else afterwords I don't even know what aftermath is

Devs these days just keep making mistakes

Aftermath is more like "extended" edition of WWZ with 2 extra episodes+extensions of Horde Mode+first person view. There is no 1 and 2 parts of WWZ like L4D 1-2 for example.
Aftermath was a paid upgrade \ expansion with what Nameless named.

Added a whole bunch of great stuff including fluid switching between FPP and TPP.
If you liked the game, it's a must-have, if you own WWZ on Steam then just buy "Aftermath upgrade". If you don't, go for the WWZ Aftermath edition, it's base game + Aftermath.

It's still weird and sad to me that they changed the base game on Steam from Aftermath to the regular base game. Even more so considering the Steam page only shows Aftermath screenshots and lists Aftermath features, like they couldn't even be bothered to update the description to reflect the change in product.
My copy is on epic so I really don't wanna get the XP am on steam mostly

Forgot why I got it over there they shouldve released on both platforms

If part 2 comes out hopefully they learned there lesson

What do you expect from them? They sold their game 3 times: first release, then they released a few DLCs and then another bunch of them but to get them you had to buy the new "game of the year edition". After that they screwed up with customers, because "epic" gave the game away for FREE in their store.
A few years later they released game here with another "new" edition - aftermath.

Yup.. as much as the game's fun, the fact they've released so many editions and extra bits of DLC sucks. Especially the fact they've locked FP behind Aftermath, that especially sucks. Wouldn't be as bad if they at least fixed their game, but the game is still buggy as hell. Vulkan rendering still hasn't been fixed from what I've read and certain levels will still crash with it enabled. Why they're not at least fixing critical things like that is beyond me.

FP mode is a joke, I would disable it permanently. It's about the feel of the weapon and especially the weapon animations. It loses even to late 90s shooters like Half-Life.
Bugs are a separate story, regardless of your skill you will still lose, because zombies can hit you from a couple of meters away, or “scripted” zombies that have much more damage than single. Ugh..If you don't have an m4 shotgun and don't have for example masking grenades and don't play as medic just for became invisible - you have a high chance of being incapacitated.
My buddy who I play with - just learned lurker respawns and better positions for defense. Positions are a separate story - you can take any position in the game, but the problem is that because of respawns and balance in some positions you can easily be incapacitated, while in others you can survive the entire wave of zombies.
Vulkan is unstable, I didn't have any crashing, but I did have graphical artifacts. I set the FSR setting to Quality and the problem was solved. But the image quality itself became more blurry.
Even though I purchased the game at a relatively low price, I still regret the purchase. If the developers would fix most of the bugs and improve the servers, the game would be much better. It had potential.

Yeah, for me Vulkan will just freeze a lot. Like sometimes multiple times a minute. Once it even corrupted the entire 3D rendering, causing me to have to rely on my HUD and my teammates to babysit me. Was the parts collection level in the Israel level. Pain. After that I went back to DX and never had issues again.
FP mode though I personally find okay. It's been a lot worse at launch of Aftermath. It took them a couple of months to finally patch the movement to be way less laggy and slippery. The animations and zoom though, I don't mind. Actually prefer the zoom over regular ADS, especially with most modern games having awfully overdone animations. FP is what made me buy WWZ and I never played a full match with TP. Just don't like TP in this game.

They don't care because people keep on throwing their money at Saber and not rejecting their bad business. Saber has no reason to try harder or do better at present because people will not step back and quit buying.

Another thing to note is the abysmal support. People keep on buying even though the support is bottom of the barrel quality.

Matthew Karch (CEO) of Saber said last year back in April that he wanted to focus more on quality moreover quantity. Well, here we are. Quality is still not a focus. Hot air balloons sure do hold a lot of hot air.

Until people start speaking with their wallet, this company won't ever change and we will continue to see bug and glitch infested mediocre games come out of Saber.
