How can I play with a controller?

mine isnt working at all. i know i have everything set up correctly, it doesnt look like anything needs to be done since the game is listed as "fully supported" but mine isnt working. i really hope they can patch that soon cuz i cant play until its fixed

I have a Madcat controller (Xbox compatible). Steam detecs it perfectly and works with the rest of the games, but this game doesn't detect it. Not working too.

yes, I only play fps games on steam with a controller.

Try right clicking the game in your library > Properties > Controller and change it from Steam input to Default. That's assuming you have controller configuration support enabled.

^ Setting it to default doesn't work for me, be it for the xbox pad or the ps4 one

For me either, it doesnt work with my x box or my ps5 controllers and my big picture mode is working very well and I can play other games as well.

Disabling the Steam input for the game fixed it for me.
