Anyone else has used a savefile to get there. However, plenty of legit 750-800 players.
Also all classes upgraded to Platinum and guns to the max.
I don't know why a few posts in these forums put this into question.
The game came out in early 2019 and the leveling up really isn't that slow in WWZ if you know what you're doing.
I have the feeling people think this game first came out when Epic gave it away for free 2 years after its original launch.
I have 123 days in wwz (2952 hours), but 15% that time is not legit playtime, maybe menu bs and loading times. Game came out in mid 2019.
I say estimated because my playtime counter stopped around 200 hours after updating to WWZ GOTY or something, probably some store-front bug.
Levelling is not that hard, but it's quite a lot of grind.
Just see what game modes and difficulties give better XP in game.
Winning a map is very important, it you all die in the middle or near end of the map you get low rewards (including XP).
So choose maps and difficulties that you know you can win with you squad, or at least you can 'carry' if needed.
Horde mode at Hard difficulty used to give a lot of XP but I think they toned it down a notch.
Use class / setup that helps the team.

The buttrage for failz was epic (pun intended), even for me because everyone was trying to level up.
i really hope for steam market feauture but i dont think this will happen
I don't even need any bling or collectibles. The only reason why I sometimes go for achievements, is because they force me to try new playstyles. It beats me, why people put time into collecting some ♥♥♥♥, just for achievements. I wonder where is the fun in that.
Prestige level 5+ are a pain tho. You get a nice blue frame around your portrait. Most people level to 5 and call it a day since you don't get anything after that.
Insane, you can get away with running to an extent. Extreme is where it's a no-no. But another good way to find out is how the team handles friendly fire hazards, let alone special zombies. It's very disheartening watching someone shoot an infector when it's down, let alone slashing away at majority of specials. Let alone watching someone slash continuously when they're close to being surrounded, when it's simply better to watch your first slash and see how many get knocked back before decided to slash once more.
I ran into a team with TWO 999's. The other was around 800. I just thought this was something like prestige points. They weren't very good and took med packs for themselves (with me as a Medic).
. . .having seen this thread the above behavior makes sense.
