Basically I pick anything that's a constant bonus, and being able to get free medkits or stims can be really helpful sometimes. I also really like the extra temp hp/duration + 10% health recovery on stims, especially if your team is running pickpocket or other stuff that makes equipment bags just sit around unused. Any time you see one you can just spam stims and people get a little heal and a couple minutes of buffer health.
The 25% global less ff is pretty good since most people suck at this game, too.
2-3-2 (tho, 1 and 2 instead of mid 3 is also okay)
2-3-1 ( but again, things like 4-2-1 4-2-2 s viable)
really you cant go wrong much with medic, almost all perks useful one way or other. individually they might not be as strong as other classes' perks , but as a whole they make medic a good tank/survivalist. only thing medic s lacking "rooted" or "judo type anti-pin perks almost any class have. you need to balance it out with good positioning and keeping your distance from zombies.
anyway, thats it, there s not much to it, one more thing while smgs not so bad, i dont like them so i dont use smg based perks which s actually main weapon of medic class.
base hp (grey bar/actual hp) is a rare commodity. especially with some mutators like proximity or hunger.
we generally prefer %10 more hp over few seconds of faster healing. You dont usually heal teammates during combat anyway, you do it during lull times between hordes. Overall few secs more doesnt matter much during lull times.
on the other hand, sometimes %10 hp is difference between success or fail of mission. One can do a lot with %10hp /on the correct hands of a good player. He might save mission with that hp by goin next checkpoint and spawning all of us.
and finally, yes, all medkits you personally ll apply will heal %80 hp regardless its yourself or an ally.
its like safe bet vs risky play. being the most casual vs being the most heroic/supportive. xD (its how i define in my mind)
While i dont want to talk in stead of everyone, so far, what i seen that most people prefer s safer route. myself included. (yes, i actually check how much hp they heal, i can guesswork what perks a player use more or less at this point , after so many hours)
Edit: Just let me know what you want my build to focused toward. I got 2 atm. One for healing in Hoard Mode, and a Battle Medic for Extreme/Extinction.
