More military characters?
I would genuinely like it if there were more military characters like infantry men or the army guys in the 2013 movie. I like the whole military vibe in zombie games.

Agreed! More maps showing how the military "dealt" with the situation, too!

Kind of goes against the book though. Like not compeltely. There were a Jarhead and a General I think but most were civilians that didn't have combat training.

Come to think of it, there were a couple military adjacent stories. Helecopter pilot, the deepsea diver and the dog trainer. How about another group That aren't nesessarily all grunts but working with them in some capacity?

I've actually never read the books, I want to tho! Would you recommend the book?

But yea I want more military characters, like the other person said..I would like to see how they "dealt" with the zekes, honestly..I just want a military character in a kit..helmet and all.

I'd recommend the audiobook if you can get it. The voice actors they got are truly amazing and because the book was originally a bunch of interviews it makes sense that you're listening to the interviews instead of reading then.

I second this. The book is where the real story is at.

Thanks! I'll definitely get the audiobook version then :)

Yeah, they should add more military character, police man or women, doctor. And outfit zombie as doctor, nurse, police,…

So I finally listened to the audiobook, which makes me think that we need military characters even more because of the Battle of Yonkers..maybe even n act in the game about the battle of yonkers!

Oh I completely agree they could put in a complete military act and that would be a reason to have military characters. What I don't want is military characters because I want to live out a jarhead fantasy in a level that it doesn't suit.

Totally understandable! I personally just like playing as military characters in games and I'm sure there are others, but I also think there are and to quote you " People who don't want to live a out a jarhead fantasy in a level that doesn't suit it" and that's perfectly ok. Either way I am happy with the characters, just want some military characters...I especially want a "Battle of Yonkers" act now.

Good idea , More characters on the map, if you save them , they will reciprocate or help you on horde (then watching them die):steamhappy:

Don't buy it. When they say it was a disaster, it is truly a disaster and Saber actually had the gall to put a price tag on it. If you're wise, you'll stay the hell away from Toxic Commando too, when it drops. It'll be the same hot mess this game became. Matthew Karch cares more about money than the product quality that comes out of his company. Saber's games are proof of it.

I get that but I am genuinely curious as to why it was a disaster? Was it just horribly done or what's the issue with it?
