Toxic Commando is also around the corner this year so they have even less reason to care about taking proper care of WWZ connectivity issues. They probably expect tons of people will shift over from this game to that one, but I doubt too many will in light of the heaps of problems this game has gotten in the past year and a half - many of which haven't been fixed.
Many game problems will go unfixed indefinitely (like the ghosting Zeke problem) as Saber simply doesn't know how to fix them. They're likely buried too deep within the spaghetti code mess. Saber just won't come clean and admit they don't know how to fix certain game problems because overall, straight forward transparency and honesty isn't a Saber practice.
As for updating new content or balancing prestige perks that are not really useful and the biggest problem that has been ignored for several years about the two row prestige ranks still ignore it, I don't know what to say and if it's really Once the game is over, you should finish the rest of it, don't throw it away, it's a waste. I also posted on 7 March an article to suggest unlocking 2 more prestige rank rows for the game but there was almost no response or action from them at all, so sad. The game can still bring profit if they know how to exploit it. If the game is strong in what other games don't have, just focus on it. Paying for additional DLC to support the developer is very normal to me, I mostly buy it without waiting for a sale, as long as they don't bring too bad content and sell it at a high price. I also hope that when I say that and tomorrow or the near future they can bring great things to slap me in the face because I said things that are not true, I will also accept that, hahaha
