1.- Primero fijate lo obvio: Reparar el juego, muchas veces se sale incluso cuando ya entraste a la partida porque le falta el "Steam Common Redistributables". Me pasaba en el Sniper Elite 3, reparaba el juego y jugaba sin problema alguno.

2.- Fijate el firewall por las dudas que no esté bloqueando alguna conexión. Acá tenés dos casos que hablan de algo parecido (pero en inglés):
