strictly anecdotal: I feel it isn't very bizzy, finding a game with random people via matchmaking can also be very punishing if one or two people screw up in campaign you can also argue that is part of the fun!

it really depends on your region and play time schedule. I still have yet to really dive in horde btw

the bots are serviceable I guess? thankfully if you host a public game you may likely get human players tagging along. to get significant in-game currency we play the challenge maps that have mutators that increase difficulty in a variety of ways. I would recommend playing throu the game "normally" before trying those but I think that is where the population is at, plus challenge maps have document collection which is a minor thing I enjoy collecting and showing locations for my teammates

The game is quite fun and you shouldn't have too much issue finding people to play with. I have 0 regrets about buying it.

Incredibly fun to play. I'm always able to find people to play with. Definitely recommend it.
