You can find out the details about your system by opening the runbox using the [Windows key + R] combination. Look for "OS name" and "System type".
When you download the installer, run it and follow the instructions on the screen. When the installation process is finished, right-click the save file you received from the tech support to open the context menu, go to the "7-Zip" category and click "Open archive".
Your next steps will depend on what exactly is inside the archive. If you're playing the Steam version of WWZ, the user progression file you will need to replace is located here:
Your Steam3ID can be discovered by checking your profile on the SteamID.uk website[steamid.uk].
The file itself is called "user_progression.dat". Rename it to user_progression.cfg.bak (to have a back-up save just in case the one in the archive doesn't work). Then look for the "user_progression" file in your archive. Pay attention to its extension.
Is it ".cfg"? Then simply extract the file to the location specified above.
Is it ".dat"? Do the same thing, but change the extension from ".dat" to ".cfg" by renaming the "user_progression.dat" file.
also save file transfer was encouraged by the devs when they released on steam. personally i also transfered my save file from epic via official instruction and had no issues.
