Ongoing issues with swarms not showing up / server issues

I got the Epic version for free a couple years back, and bought the Aftermath upgrade, and to say I've gotten my money's worth is an understatement. Game is a blast.

The New York horde mode often glitches out, where the swarms stop spawning and there's no way to proceed. Nothing left to do but quit the horde run. Sometimes it occurs mid wave, sometimes it's at the start of a new wave, where the swarm never appears.

In the case of it glitching mid-wave (as opposed to the glitch at the beginning of a new wave where the swarm never begins), running around the map looking for stray zombies usually does not fix the problem, as there are no strays to be found anywhere. (Two or three times I did find a stray outside the navigable areas. At least one time there was no way to kill the stray, not even with explosives.) This business of the swarms stopping in New York horde mode, has happened in both offline mode and online public mode with no bots. It DOES NOT only happen on or after wave 20. I have had it happen on wave two on several occasions, once on around wave 18, and numerous other waves. It most often occurs when you fall back to defend the gates. However, it has also occurred when at the designated, elevated pier/balcony locations.

Also, recently had issues with the map Tech Support during challenge mode -- small pharma was the mutator. The game glitched out at the very end, swarms never showed up for the final battle -- only a few stragglers. With around a minute left on the "wave" counter, the server disconnected and kicked us out to the menu. I went back and ran through it again, the same challenge (same mutator) and while me and teammates were able to successfully complete the mission without a disconnect, the same issue with the puny (virtually nonexistent) swarms persisted at the final battle. Never even needed to unload stationary machineguns or mortars. Both times were on the hard difficulty level.
