Rework the Infection, it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid.

Why someone thought that adding infection chance on being damaged was a good idea?
Shouldn't it be reserved for spitter?
Also yeah I guess it's still ok to have a random infection chance when you're getting mauled by zombies on some harder modes though it still is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bother.
But for ♥♥♥♥♥ sake, getting infected randomly when I get a fall damage or when I am in the zone of some explosion and even when a teammate shots me by a mistake or even intentionally but it also has a chance to get you infected on harder modes.
Rework this.
Make the spitter to be able to only infect you or fix this ♥♥♥♥ so only the zombies have a low % chance to infect you while attacking you on harder modes.

op completely understands that. theyre arguing what is the sense thst splash dmg from explosives also share the same risk of infection

Also I know about the splash damage, didn't knew about virus sample but I thought that might be the case, but why my friend got infected on a horde mode when he got hit with a damage from explosive, where on horde mode you don't have virus samples to pick up?

Why on earth would you "adapt" to getting infected from explosion, fall damage or friendly fire? Is an explosion a zombie, is gravity a zombie, and is a bullet a zombie too?

Horde mode can have random mutators that change up the game play, the daily ones randomly change mutators every wave or something. Might have been one of those.

Nah, we just have played the normal horde, not the daily/weekly challenge stuffs.

I am pretty sure you were getting infected randomly because you picked up the virus sample before hand.
If you get injured by Zekes, explosions or gunshots there is a chance you will get infected because of the virus sample being damaged.

If the virus sample is in the second stage of degradation, and if you get hit, there is a higher chance of getting infected.

The Booster can also infect you with 4 hits. But he's unlikely to get close to you, he's not as strong as The Infector.

Think twice before picking up a virus sample.

skill issu, there is no infection on dmg randomly on high diff, it's ONLY when you get the sample damaged, so it's skill issu your just bad, play more and get better

cause he got spit on buy an infector and didn't even mind cause he is too bad ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
