crashes on startup , won't launch

I bought this game today but,
I can never playing this game.
click [Play] on steam →brackscreen→back to desktop
I tried reinstall this game , reinstall gpu driver , check ☒administrative rights,
There's No massage or notification when crashing or blackscreen.
help me

yup, same thing here. I just reinstalled it TWICE last night, checked windows and GPU drivers (all are up to date), verified cache, everything. I even forced DX11 because vulkan is screwed up right now and still nothing. I just keep getting the "Crash Dump Utility" pop-up followed by a desktop crash. Sometimes not even the crash dump utility pop-up.

Needless to say the game is screwed right now. What's amazing is I remember when the game launched on PC and steam and Saber had these same issues. Just goes to show you that Saber STILL can't get this ♥♥♥♥ right after years of development time.

i've heard vulkan is a major issue right now and to force it into DX11. Still find this sad that Saber hasnt figured out this issue with vulkan yet considering they have had this issue since PC launch

for me deleting the storage folder worked
steam cloud saves are loaded back and it started in direct x
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Saber\WWZ\client\storage\

They said they would investigate the issue.
No fix has been found yet.

Other than my post, there have been so many reports of this game not being able to start and no update has come yet?

It crashes because of vulkan being enabled you need to edit the video config file to enable Directx11 tested this on the system with a GTX960 crashes right away if vulkan is enabled

Go to
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Saber\WWZ\client\storage\
edit video.dat
Find "AdapterId" should be right at the start of the file.
Change "AdapterId":1 to "AdapterId":0 then save the file. best to edit the file.
The one it generated might have AdapterId set to 1 and not 0 by default might because you have a AMD GPU
should start in Directx 11 don't chnage to vulkan until its fixed what means no FSR :(

I don't know why that is, or if it's because I've never been able to launch the game.
If putting the file "video.dat" in there will launch it, someone please upload that "video.dat" for me.

Looking at Event Viewer log helps a lot
Windows Logs > Application

I tried putting in the files, but the game wouldn't start.
I also looked at the windows event viewer, but it didn't record anything.
I'm really stumped.

same here. never happened before the update, i keep getting the crash dump sending utility pop-up and even though i ignore it and join a party, the game freezes after everyone presses ready and is not responding after that.

all drivers are updated and i tried every single solution that is on YouTube or the forums. i hope they come up with a solution soon.
