I sent this complaint to them today about the API and the Intel Integrated Graphics. Now waiting for a response, but I'm not happy with them for screwing up the game.
I told them about the game's performance, the API and the Integrated Video, they said that the delay is due to bringing an Update without bringing more bugs, you know? But I get really annoyed, it's just that they managed to screw up the game with just one Game Mode, how can they do it?!
Nerf? What are you talking about?
No, I know why, hahaha! I asked the question as a form of discontent, how can they release a broken update, you know? It's very irresponsible.
Capitalism is inherently exploitative, alienating, unstable, unsustainable, and creates massive economic inequality, commodifies people, is anti-democratic and leads to an erosion of human rights and national sovereignty while it incentivises imperialist expansion and war. Saber Interactive is no exception from being a capitalist and imperialist. They could have released the update in a better state, but the hype, marketing and money come first.
I agree with everything you said, you can see the bad releases we've had for PC recently, for example The Last of Us Part 1, they released the game literally broken, it's horrible there! They only care about money. I'm glad they updated World War Z, but it didn't fix the Intel UHD issue yet unfortunately.
Of course there are some exceptions, for example the Kingdom Rush company, which is Ironhide Game Studio, who updated the first Kingdom Rush a decade ago, they updated the game to include new languages, including my country's, Portuguese Brazil, I was very happy, it's not much, but it's nice. Another exception is the company Hi-fi Rush from Tango Gameworks, the game is well optimized, it's beautiful, it has dubbed for several countries and the game is not expensive. Of course, they are exceptions, because of the bad we have The Last of Us Part 1, Wo Long, Forspoken and etc...
It's an unfortunate situation, mine has been like this since this horrible update arrived in the game.
