Horde Mode Update broke my game! (Intel HD/Intel UHD/Intel Iris Xe)

[Runner]

World War Z is a game that works well, sometimes there are frame drops, but overall it works well. I have an Intel UHD 730 and I was able to play the game smoothly, but after this update, the textures are gone, and everything is flickering like crazy. Is your game weird?

Update: The game had an update, but it does not correct the problem of missing textures in World War Z Aftermatch, and apparently this problem only happens with Intel Onboard, that is, Intel HD, Intel UHD and Intel Iris XE.

Same here. I re-installed TWICE last night, verified cache multiple times (more then 10 times at this point), windows and GPU drivers are all up to date, tried launching as administrator, tried forcing DX11, all meet with crash after crash after crash. Can't even load the main menu and I just re-installed the game the last night for the first time in nearly a year to check this update out. Come to find out Saber still hasnt fixed a problem that's been plaguing the game since PC release and that says a lot.

Worse I tried everything too! And I did what Saber Support asked me to do, updating Windows, the Drivers, checking the game cache and everything is working fine, except the game, which is the only thing that is defective in this story. They talked to me and they're going to release an update for the game, but now when they're going to release it, that's a good question.

I passed on the information to them, videos, images, etc, and also warned them about the Intel onboards suffering from this problem, and their response was this:

same like me, is the game back to normal now? i cant play :(

Unfortunately it hasn't been fixed yet. Today's patch was just to fix some gameplay issues it had after the update, but not performance/graphics issue yet.

i have 2 PCs. 5600G runs fine with vulkan, but the in game FSR doesn't work but rather flickers. Using lossless scaling to fix the issue. My other pc on rx5600xt with vulkan, hangs at loading game logic, but running with dx11 is smooth. Thoughts?

As it seems to me, they already know about these problems, and suggest basic fixes for the solution like, "switch from Direct X to Vulkan, from Vulkan to Direct X, turn FidelityFX on and off". However, I have forwarded your complaint to the developers.

Thanks dude. The new update is ridiculous. I prefer the original aftermath and the weapons rather than just skins.

Fortunately the game has updated and solved some problems, but unfortunately this Intel UHD problem is not yet, it is having the same problem.

Same issue here with my onboard Iris Xe graphics! This update killed my game, keeps on flickering!

One thing that I noticed across the board (episodes specifically) is I now sometimes get intense lag spikes, but it's not network related and directly related to the game. Everything was running extremely smooth before the update, but once it dropped I noticed immediately there are problems. Though I can play most of the game smoothly, I get these intense stop animation sort of lag spikes and I can't move or do anything. Eventually it kind of clears up, but when getting near huge zombie spawn points, the problem becomes more visible. Sometimes not, but most times that seems to be the case.

Others I know who also experience these problems slightly, are running on top end gear so it's definitely not a you only problem. Saber needds to fix whatever is causing the problem.

Would be nice to be able to use Vulkan again too. I can no longer use Vulkan and am forced to use DirectX. Never used to be that way until as of late. Probably why my performance is tanking on top of whatever problem is causing performance issues. I can even edit Video.dat (which has a boolean to turn on DirectX or Vulkan outside of the game) and all it does is throw me an error about DirectX. Switch back to DirectX and the game is happy. It seems broken.

I made another complaint to them about the problem, there are a lot of people with the same defect with Intel's Integrated Video, mainly because there are many people who use Intel and there is no way to change the API in the game, it's ridiculous! I'm going to make a negative review for this game bomb.

I sent another complaint to them charging for the positioning, it's sad that they ruined the game that way. I even said that I'm going to negative the game and I'm not going to recommend this game anymore.
