Any way to invite a steam friend from epic game?

I own this game on epic game. can i play with a steam friend somehow?

Yes, but it is not straightforward. Basically start at the menu, click at the party button to invite, instead of inviting (since Epic and Steam users don't see each other), choose copy link. Then you send that link through any medium of your choosing (soc med/discord/youtube comments/smoke signal). Cross epic and steam integration was choppy before, but I haven't played this game for some time. You occasionally get dropped from the party, nothing another invite can't fix.
