There's also no way to cancel ready at that point, meaning thw game must either be force closed, or one waits until the "lost connection. Online features will not be available" message finally appears.
This issue seemingly appeared within the last few days, and is affecting a group of friends and me. We're all on Steam, but different devices, internet connections, etc. So, rather than an issue isolated to a handful of users, this appears to be a more-widespread problem related to Saber's setup such as server load. Submitting individual tickets doesn't feel like a good way forward if the problem is this widespread.
