GOTY buyers got ripped off...

So there is no difference from someone that upgraded the base game to GOTY in order to gib more support, and someone that prolly got the base game for free? GOTY owners are basiclly rebuying the GOTY upgrade since its advertised as a inclusion in Aftermath and base game people get the GOTY stuff i paid for, for free now... we paid $20 already for GOTY and now your just giving it away for free with this new Expansion and asking the same price from people that already have it.
Maybe im being petty but doesnt feel like it.

yep. i paid full price for the game when it came out, full price for the GOTY upgrade and even bought one of the weapon skin packs. if i buy this expansion, ill be up to almost $80....
If i have to choose between my FF14 sub and waiting for this expansion to go on sale a month after it comes out for half off... im prolly gonna wait

Dont get me wrong its a fun game and maybe they didnt do this on purpose. But... its what it is.

I kinda feel screwed that they didn't implement anyway for those of us that want to switch to steam from epic to confirm through their website that we own the game so we could get the discount.

I could get over the fact that the game went free even though I purchased it when it was released, and that they didn't let us get it on steam in the first place, and the whole GOTY thing. But not implementing anyway to link our epic account on their site for a discount purchase through their site. Feels like the last straw that might make me not buy it right now.

the base game isnt free its just not sold on steam. Aftermath is a $20 Expansion to base game owners. But theyre also using it as a way to release it at its new price point on steam.

Well I mean that it went free for a weekend or however long it was, allowing people to redeem it permanently to their account. At least that's what I heard. Not that it went free forever.
