I have the older 3rd person version and I hate playing with a 3rd person camera view. Sometimes I can't see my gun, the angle it shoots at drives me nuts, my body causes collision issues and blocks my view. This is not a game specific complaint, It's what 1st person gamers don't like about 3rd person. Many of us will play Aftermath on only 1st person like other 1st person games. For me, I will never switch it into 3rd person.

The point is there is no advantage; so there's no reason to segregate them into different gamemodes.
Third person lets you see more, plain and simple.
If first person animation turns out to be garbage then I'm just not going to use it.
I said:
Who said segregate or mentioned advantage? It's just a preference that a player can choose.

You missed the point. Go read what I replied to.
You read carefully. You are confused.
^Notice how he mentions fragmentation of playerbase due to feature being locked behind paywall(like maps) even though this is just about first/thirdperson perspective.
Let me translate that for you: I don't care what you feel about first/thirdperson view, the point that you kept missing is that it doesn't change enough(not that this is a competitive game; where as third person advantage in the likes of pubg was a legit reason to have fps-only mode) to segregate the playerbase. You could have understood all of that if you had just read carefully.
